Pre-Departure details

Global Programs will share pre-departure information with you as you get ready to depart. All students are required to attend a Pre-Departure Orientation (PDO) meeting for their program type, to complete Post-Decision Paperwork in your study away portal and to read the Global Programs Handbook. You will also have a required on-site orientation upon arrival in your host location.

Academics

Students from all undergraduate majors and most graduate degrees can study abroad and earn credit towards graduation. Curious about how credits work? Health + Safety

Passports + Visas

A valid passport is required to study outside the United States. An entry permit or visa may also be necessary for you to enter and study in your host country. You are responsible for the application process. Lately, extra time has been be needed for processing, so plan accordingly. Read on for more details.

Culture Corner

There are many ways to prepare for your experience. The more you do to learn about your host culture before you depart, the more rewarding your experience will be.
