diversity + access travel stipend Award (DATSA)

The Diversity and Access Travel Stipend Award (DATSA) is a planning scholarship available to students who have traditionally been under-represented in study abroad. The goal of the travel stipend is to make study away opportunities more accessible to a broader group of students by easing the financial barrier, as well as to increase representation of diverse viewpoints in study away programs.

Traditionally under-represented students in study abroad include, but are not limited to individuals who identify with a certain race, color, sex, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, ability/disability, age, or veteran status. The award is also available to first generation college students, students from low-income families, and students with a history of overcoming adversity.
